Description:
Blind Awareness is dedicated to educating the sighted world on the realities of blindness. Many of the issues and concepts covered apply to disability in general. A strong focus is placed on providing information to increase awareness of blindness in a positive and friendly manner. As well, there is a section geared towards allowing blind people to express their frustrations about life in a sighted world.
Any criticisms or frustrations expressed by blind people are intended to invoke thought and hopefully improvements and change, and not to offend anyone.
